Get your foot in the door .. Literally! Two tactical marketing loan

Sometimes it's all about being different, and really far from the crowd.

As loan officers, they tend to get the same advice to our managers, we read the same books and listen to audio programs itself.

We want to find new business, but we're all being told to find related business news from the same source (if the effectiveness of any marketing we do is diminish in any way).

I love to see sellers take bold actions when it comes to marketing and prospecting for new business.

I met a loan officer who has ordered 100 pumpkins a few weeks before Halloween. He made an agreement with a local supermarket to use some of their parking to to pumpkins.

Put an ad in the newspaper, put a few flyers in grocery stores around, customers and laudromats, and have been fortunate to have the newspaper covering local events in the morning, gave them pumpkins.

It was a great success!

The result was overwhelming. It took two hours out pumpkins, but met with 100 individuals and couples that day, and was eight child is good for business immediately.

Was the job? Of course, it was, but it was worth on several occasions. And the reason you paid for the average loan officer simply would not have done.

Another loan officer very young and ambitious pushed the envelope.

I had just started and was looking for a way to break the ice when meeting new Realtors. This is exactly what we did:

He went to the shoe shop in the local discount, and bought 5 pairs of plain black shoes (was about $ 5 per couple).

It has small printed labels to put cords in the following manner:

Hello. My name is John Smith and I "M" get my foot in the door. "I'll be back to his office the next morning on Tuesday to meet you.

He then went to an estate agency that would focus on this month, and put a pad on each of the mailboxes of the agents.

Was this cool? Maybe. And I'd like to see real estate agents face when they took off their shoes in their mailboxes.

But the loan officer Young broke the ice and it gets a very productive source of reference for this office. And even today, each When someone from that agency seem real, they say, "Hey, you're the man with the shoes. "

Therefore, think creatively with their marketing efforts. Standing out from the loan officer average. Being different and remember.
